Grace-Ann Fasaye, ScM

Grace-Ann is a board-certified genetic counselor. She completed her Master's degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and National Human Genome Research Institute. Grace-Ann is also an alumnus of City of Hope’s intensive course in cancer risk assessment.

Prior to joining the Inova team, Grace-Ann was the coordinator of the Risk Evaluation and Education for Alzheimer’s Disease research project at Howard University. She remains connected to Howard University as a faculty member in their Genetic Counseling Training Program and serves as a clinical rotation supervisor and instructor. She lectures about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome, psychosocial aspects of hereditary cancer risk assessments, and cultural competence in genetic counseling.

Grace-Ann takes pride in her role of educating the community about the connections between family history, cancer risk and risk reduction options. She strives to provide comprehensive and individualized hereditary cancer risk assessments with attention to the emotional impact on patients and their families.
